In this session, our returning guest speaker Jenny Blake, Career Development Program Manager at Google, will explain and demonstrate these tools, and how they can help streamline our Social Media effort and enable us to use Social Media as an effective communication and networking tool:

  • WordPress (as a blogging tool)
  • Google Reader (as a way to subscribe to blogs and stay on top of things)
  • Delicious (as a way to track and share web content)
  • StumbleUpon (as a way to get informed about popular articles and post/rank articles)
  • TweetDeck (as a way to manage Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn updates)
Please take a few minutes to fill out the Social Media Inbox survey before the session (if you haven’t done so already):  http://www.tinyurl.com/newnewinbox Please note that if you have attended Jenny’s previous presentations (Gen Y in Action, and Twitter 101), the recordings of both sessions are both available at the Accomplishing more with less group at Facebook.

Hope you will be able to join us.
