After having heard Jenny Blake (Gen Y), Adam Christensen (Gen X), Peggy Wolf (Baby Boomer), and Bill Denyer (Senior) talk about the generational issues in the workplace (sessions recordings are at the Accomplishing more with less group on Facebook), they will all be back to participate in a panel discussion on September 9, 2010. In this complimentary lunch & learn webinar, they will continue the discussions they started about the work habits of different generations, the issues that are most critical to each generation, and what steps can be taken to encourage and facilitate cross-generational knowledge transfer and collaboration. Here is some more information about our panelists:
Jenny Blake: Career Development Program Manager at Google. Author of the LifeAfterCollege.org blog helping recent graduates and young professionals navigate their lives after college and soon to publish her first book!
Adam Christensen: CTO of HR Systems at Wells Fargo. Responsible for all enterprise employee-related systems at Wells Fargo, including over 150 applications that service Wells Fargo employees, managers, and contractors worldwide.
Peggy Wolf: Senior Manager of Communications for the Services Division of Cisco Systems. Has been focusing for the past 3 years on Cisco’s inclusion and diversity initiatives, and led the creation of a Multicultural, Multigenerational Toolkit for Cisco worldwide.
Bill Denyer: Learning and Development Consultant at Esurance, Inc. Spent the last five decades in the education business, working with learners as young as first graders, up to university graduate students, and corporate managers and executives in several Fortune 100 corporations.
