Lunch & Learn Webinar
Mindfulness and the Creative Spirit
Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019 from 12:10-12:45 PM PT
In this webinar, Hugh Delehanty, a bestselling author and meditation teacher, will lead us in discussion about the powerful role that mindfulness can play in breaking through persistent blocks and unlocking our innate creativity. Hugh started meditating in his 30s when he was overwhelmed by his high-pressure job as an editor at Sports Illustrated and discovered that the key to creativity wasn’t about transporting yourself into a special trancelike state but becoming deeply attuned to the state you’re in, right here, right now. We’ll explore the latest neuroscientific research on mindfulness and creativity and learn what successful artists, such as Stephen King, Maya Angelou, and Garrison Keillor, have to teach us about crafting a more fulfilling and creative life.
This webinar is also part of our Mindfulness @Work 21-Day Challenge, helping our participants leverage the Hello Mindful App to work more mindfully throughout their workday as well as adding mindfulness practices to achieve the benefits discussed in this webinar.
